Innovative spam mail that repels other spam mails

Spam mails are a total nuisance for all email users. They hog resources and waste users’ time. It is estimated that over two-thirds of all mail sent are spam mails.

While spam may be sent by crackers and used for unlawful activities, it is good to see that every once in a while, the spammer behind an email has an iota of humour. Check out the spam email that I got a few months back:

You may also receive similar e-mails from people portraying to be other Organizations or UNICEF. This is solely to collect your personal information from you and lay claim over your Fund. If you receive any mail similar to this notification letter, Kindly forward a copy to us and delete it from your mail box and give no further correspondence to such person or body.

So, this mail not only gives me a chance to win $350,000 from UNICEF, but it also recommends that I do not fall for spam messages that try to extract my identity and get the money. Now that’s what I call innovative spam.

It reminds me of some worm that enters our digestive system and thrives on food, but does not allow any other worms of its own species to live. At least we don’t have to deal with two instances :)
